**Job Posting: Retail Sales Associate at Angler’s West Flyfishing Outfitters**

Angler’s West Flyfishing Outfitters is looking for a Retail Sales Associate for the summer season of 2025. As the leading fly shop in Paradise Valley, we provide high-quality gear and expert guiding services to meet all your fly fishing needs. With the breathtaking Yellowstone River and National Park right in our backyard, you’ll be immersed in the heart of the longest freestone river in the Lower 48 states.

In this role, you’ll interact directly with our guests, help them book trips, and assist in coordinating our daily guided outings. If you love fly fishing, this is the perfect chance to share your passion while working in our shop. You’ll be teaming up closely with our owners, managers, and guiding staff.

**Qualifications:**
- Strong knowledge of fly fishing
- Familiarity with industry products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience in retail
- Experience in the Yellowstone area or Southwest Montana is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills, both in-person and via phone or email

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential. You should have excellent customer service skills, a passion for helping others, and basic math skills for handling cash. Comfort with physical tasks and standing for long periods is important, along with teamwork and proactive problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, point-of-sale systems, and Windows is required. This role offers 40 hours per week, with potential extra hours during peak seasons.

We are excited to announce that Angler's West will continue to serve you throughout the year! Starting November 1st, our winter hours will be from 9 AM to 4 PM, Friday through Sunday, with appointments available on other weekdays. As fall fishing is in full swing on the Yellowstone River and our Spring Creeks, we are also pleased to offer year-round access to the Gardner River in Yellowstone National Park. With the holidays approaching, now is the perfect time to start your festive shopping for all your fishing needs. It is also a great time to find our in-store end-of-the-season deals and sales.
