Our 2nd Artist Series stick is now available! This year we’re featuring artwork from Brad Richardson of Ambush Candle Co.. Brad did a killer job on both the label and the custom Pine & Ember scent.

We’re releasing these a little different this time… last year we sent out some art books to a handful of our loyal customers and we thought it was time to do a little thank you to some of our longstanding wholesale accounts. 10 of these will be available at the following store locations… PELIGRO SPORTING DEPOT , Bases Loaded Superstore , and Between The Lines all have a handful coming as a thank you for sticking with us all these years. The market has a changed a whole lot since we started in ‘13 but these guys hung in there with us and their loyalty to our brand means the world to us. We have 20 in-house that are available online but we recommend hitting one of these locations if they’re in your area in the next week or so when they arrive.

These are always super fun and we’re psyched to share ‘em with some shops out there that make Pelican possible ❤️

Baseball is full of rituals. Growing up in California, surfing was my first introduction into the nuances of a sport that made it so special. Applying surf wax in the back of my old Datsun pickup became something I looked forward to almost as much as getting into the water. The on deck circle is a similar sacred space where it’s just you, your plan…your ritual.

I’ve always loved the White Sox gothic script cap so why not do an “Oak” variation. banged out the logo perfectly in one crack and took it from there. These came out so good. Available now with a leather adjustable strap in the back. This is the first piece I’ve ever done that wasn’t branded Pelican forward. Oakland first with this one. Baseball’s history in Oakland is rich and its story ain’t over.

Each character was based off real baseball figures / players. Here are some hints… the pitcher is a lefty but was made a righty for layout purposes… he was a Blondie. The guy below him was particular about how he celebrated with teammates in TX… bottom right was found on a pouch and the hitter above him has a winter sport in his last name. If you can figure it out, you will be permanently enshrined in our personal baseball hall of fame.

Our little display / mini shop is all done. Is there enough local demand for sticky stuff to justify building this out? Nahhhhh but what the hell it was fun and it’s nice to see everything on a wall. I probably get asked for local pickup once a month so now it’s an option if you’re in the area. I’ll be here this Saturday 10-2 spinning records and eating donuts.

Nothin fancy here… just a solid solution to keeping unwanted grime from finding your bat between games etc. It also keeps your tar nice n’ fresh so it doesn’t dry out over time. Our Taper Wraps are in production and should be available soon. We’ll probably have some fun with them and have a variety of patterns and colors. No sprinkles tho. Not gonna happen.

When we got word our Pine Pops were going to be added to MLB’s on field Authentic Collection, we wanted to give them the treatment they deserved. 5 months later, they’re ready to be set free. They come in a custom more durable push up tube in a bigger size and will be packed in a custom air tight pouch. Most importantly, the formula is totally dialed after we tweaked it to increase function in warm weather. They spent a lot of time in Detroit this Summer to make sure they’re good to go. We’re super excited to finally release these into on deck circles world wide.

Keep an eye out for these tonight! We were tasked with making custom dodger blue rosin bags for the All Star Game a few months ago. All we’re hand dyed and dried at home and then screen printed at . Before PBW, I had a screen print biz so it was pretty fun getting a chance to print again and combine the two.
