Sea wolf Update. Solid fishing even with the off shore wind. Friday we had 23 anglers with limits of both rockfish and lingcod. Saturday was quite a bit tougher bite on both but the 20 anglers caught limits of rockfish snd 17 lingcod to end the day. Another great two days aboard the Sea Wolf. Yesterday’s group of 20 anglers was pretty content after they caught some rockfish so most retired their rods and hung out. We finished with 20 limits of rockfish and 30 lingcod. Today’s anglers were out for meat with 24 anglers catching limits of both and we are on our way in.

We also had a crazy shark sighting today - came up and swallowed a lingcod right on the surface, so close to the boat it tapped it.. Wish we had some film of it, was a solid 16 to 18 ft white shark.

Last 2 days have been back to back good fishing. Friday our 23 anglers caught limits of both rockfish and lingcod. On yesterday’s charter, the weather was a little tougher on the customers tummies but most hung in there to round out the bags. The 21 anglers caught limits of rockfish and 37 lingcod to end the day. We have been having great fishing since the weather pattern has calmed down somewhat! Thursday we had 24 anglers with both limits of rockfish and lingcod on Friday we did a repeat just a bit faster! 23 anglers with limits of rockfish and lingcod. Saturday we had a private trip and caught limits of rockfish and put in 10 lingocd before getting in at 1 pm. Today we went out and needed to beat the wind. We were a bit behind in the morning but made it happen as the wind started, 20 anglers limits of both rockfish and lingcod. We will be back at it after some research trips starting the 17th! Another great attempt on these big mean salmon! The charter of 18 today landed 17 salmon to 29 lbs. We will be off tomorrow, and have lots of room Wednesday for salmon and we are gearing up for good weather for Thursday. Salmon fishing is pretty hot. The scores may not echo on the bigger boats how it actually was. Lots of opportunities for big mean fish that are hard to get to the boat. But if your looking to try to get a very nice salmon now is the time. The 17 anglers aboard landed 17 salmon to 27 lbs. The boat is chartered tomorrow and we have availability Tues and wed for salmon then we will be back to rockfish and lingcod with weather looking really nice.
