Just a reminder: the March meet has been moved to the end of this month. 🙃

You asked, we listened!! At the request of the competitors, the March meet has been moved to March 28-29th. Also, we added a meet in April (18th-19th), which will be our final of the season. You guys mean the world to us, and we couldn't do it without you.

We can't wait to see you in March.... and April! ;)

And a little something extra that I've been working on.... season and league overall bests! As we continue through this season and future ones, I'll be keeping track of distance and speed runs.

Although I've said it a million times, and always will - we'll never be about chasing podiums or standings - however, it is still a competitive environment and seeing these athletes do what they do deserves its proper place in the league.

And don't let these numbers fool you: the amount of heart and training that goes into each and every run cannot be expressed by a mere number. What you can't see here is progress and improvements made each time they swoop the pond. And that's more valuable than a score.

After two meets, here are your current overall standings. Best 3 meets count so it's anybody's game. Meet #3 is in a few days, and I can't wait to see how the season continues to go.

Fly Safe, Fly Strong.

2025-26 AZSL Meet #1 is in the books. And what a weekend it was to kick off our second season: it felt good to be home pondside watching this level of talent do what they do best under a canopy.

Thank you to Skydive Arizona and Shawn Hill for allowing us to have this platform. Thank you to manifest, the pilots and ground staff for all the work you do to keep us flying on schedule safely.

Thank you to Eric and David for their photography and videography this weekend capturing the magic of CP.

Thank you to the families, friends and significant others for letting us borrow your loved ones for the weekend. I know firsthand the worry you carry during competitions, and that your support means everything to them.

Thank you to Paul for all your hardwork on and off the course all weekend. We know that water is starting to get brisk, especially at sunrise. I would thank you a million times over if I could.

Thank you to Patrick Kessler for being our meet coach. Thank you for giving your time all week to the competitors and being my eyes in the sky. Your input and collaboration this weekend has been pivotal to allow us to grow and evolve.

Thank you to the judges. We couldn’t have done this without you, and my appreciation has no limits. There’s a vest and a clipboard (or a whistle) with your name on it any time you want. 🤦‍♀️

And thank you to the competitors. My love and respect for you cannot be put into words. Thank you for trusting us, for being safe and for supporting this vision. I hope with all my heart that we’ve given you a great experience in an environment to train and progress as you continue to work towards your next goals as canopy pilots. Oh, and thank you for all the laughs along the way - p.s. you guys still suck for that. 😉

Jay would be proud. For so many things.

Fly Safe, Fly Strong. ❤️
