I was standing in a pilot in Pennsylvania getting coffee. A family with 3 young kids come in and run right to the stuffed horses on a stick thing and start yelling they want one. The dad was saying no and being firm. This has obviously happened before. The little girls started crying she wanted a horse. I went out to the car and got some Positive Pete stickers and went back in and gave them to the mom. She handed them to the kids and they stopped crying. :) I am gonna have to order more and carry them with me. Maybe get a handful for each posse to do the same.

God puts you in places for you to see stuff and handle it

I just passed a huge pileup near Knoxville. Drunk driver getting tested and failing because he couldn’t even stand. As I
passed by there were 3 of the cutest little blonde kids sitting outside their car. No one was hurt. They were all holding teddy bears. In that moment it was the only thing making them feel safe.

I put myself in those kids minds for a minute and said wish there was something I could do. Then it hit me. I could make Positive Pete into a plush toy to help kids overcome their fears.

I had to pull my ver as I was shaking.
