Athletic TIPS

Athletic TIPS Through awareness and education, Athletic TIPS™ aims to mitigate sports-related injuries among amateur and young athletes.

Athletic TIPS™ is powered by a Web-based platform, featuring community workshops, online learning, brochures, and other collaterals. A marketing and public relations engine ensures broad reach and optimal attendance at all events. The Athletic TIPS™ management team has over 30 years experience in healthcare and sports marketing communications, seminar and workshop implementation, and special event

s management. This combination of healthcare and sports-focused marketing expertise is unique to the marketplace and has enabled Athletic TIPS™ to integrate its professional advisory board with direct-to-consumer campaigns. Athletic TIPS™ spokespersons and supporters maximize all opportunities for branding, visibility and consumer engagement. To further assure the delivery of consistent content in all community workshops and marketing materials, Athletic TIPS™ has developed a training curriculum for presenters which provides rigid guidelines for conducting events. Members of the Athletic TIPS™ Advisory Board and their colleagues will continue to train other healthcare professionals and certified athletic trainers in presenting information to amateur athletes as well as their parents, coaches, athletic trainers and educators. It is anticipated that the demand for these programs will grow exponentially and our Athletic TIPS™ training cadre is positioned to expand to meet the need. With its core competencies concentrated on sports, healthcare, and mitigating sports injuries, Athletic TIPS™ answers the need for education – the single most important element needed in amateur athletics.

This past weekend, Athletic TIPS held a TIPS seminar at FitCon, which drew over 25,000 attendees.

With over 300 registrants, Sean Drake, DC, Director of the Sports Performance Institute, led a four-hour CE course on musculoskeletal and concussion.

Dr. Drake presented valuable information to help doctors accumulate credit towards their TIPS Certification and empower them to enter into their communities where they can educate parents, coaches, athletic trainers, health care professionals and amateur athletes about the TIPS pillars.

BIG thank you to the Utah Chiropractic Physicians Association for inviting us to ChiroSummit and to Performance Health for generously sponsoring Athletic TIPS at this event.
