From practices to late‑night games, from cheering in the stands to lifting up every athlete, you make this community feel like family. Today, we celebrate you — the women who keep the Bombers soaring. ❤️🏈📣

This was about more than football.

Our Bombers players showed up early—before practice—to give their time back to the community. They had the honor of spending that time with two incredible veterans, Doc Schupp and Joe Scangorella, helping prepare our town for Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Doc shared his story of serving as a combat medic—earning the name “Doc”—and gave our kids a firsthand look at what service, sacrifice, and brotherhood truly mean. These are lessons you can’t teach on a field… but they shape the kind of young men and women our athletes are becoming.

And the message hit home…

The same way these men relied on each other in the toughest moments is the same way our players have to rely on each other on the field. Trust. Communication. Having your teammate’s back no matter what. That’s what builds real teams—and real character.

We talk a lot about strength, speed, and discipline—but today was about something bigger:
Respect.
Gratitude.
Service.

This is what it means to wear the Bombers name. Not just athletes—but leaders in our community.

Proud is an understatement.

As President of the Elmwood Park Bombers, I want to wish former Bomber cheerleader Jacey Davila an absolutely incredible day as she steps onto the stage at the biggest and most competitive cheer competition in the world.

Jacey, making it to Worlds is an achievement few ever reach — and you’ve done it with the same heart, discipline, and pride you showed right here in Elmwood Park. What makes this moment even more special is that you continue to give back, volunteering your time to teach and inspire the young ladies who now stand where you once stood.

Your success is a reflection of your dedication and a reminder of what it means to be a Bomber. We’re all behind you, cheering you on as loudly as we can.
