Q: How did you first get involved with the WMGA?
A: “I started playing on the SHCC team in the WMGA matches about five years ago. I honestly had no idea what I was agreeing to at the time, but it’s been such an incredible experience!”
Q: What’s your favorite part about being a member?
A: “I absolutely LOVE the women who participate in WMGA events, both the players and the staff. It is so cup-filling to spend time with such phenomenal women throughout the season.”
Q: Favorite memory or moment so far?
A: “I was honored to be asked to play in the Griscom Cup this year, and that has definitely been one of my favorite experiences to date with the WMGA. I like to think I’m closer to my college golf days than I really am, so it was remarkable to play alongside such talented golfers. One woman I played with hit it nearly 280 yards straight down the middle on every hole. My jaw was on the floor the entire time! So cool to watch!!”
Q: Any final words for current or future members?
A: “I love that the WMGA gives golfers of all levels the opportunity to play. Never feel nervous about joining! And if you ever need a friend to go to an event with, reach out. I’m your girl!”
