This one is about carrying a young man’s legacy forward. 💚
Billy Lowe was the son of Elmira Aviators President of Hockey Operations and former Elmira Jackals player Eddy Lowe. He was an incredible hockey and lacrosse player, a beloved son, brother, teammate and friend—and he proudly wore #26.
In 2020, Billy passed away unexpectedly at just 15 years old.
In the hardest moment imaginable, Billy became an organ donor. His final gift gave others a second chance at life.
The Lowe family created the FOREVER2SIX Fund to keep Billy’s spirit alive, raise awareness for organ donation through Donate Life and continue supporting the Elmira Aviators family that Billy grew up in.
On Saturday, September 5, we play for Billy.
