Our student, Dakota, would like to invite First Responders to his special dinner on November 15th! We're super proud of the work he does to support the community! Here's a letter from Dakota!

Dear First Responders,
My name is Dakota Rinker, and I'm a student in Elmira, NY. I'm excited to invite you to my 2nd Annual First Responders Appreciation Dinner!
This special event will take place on November 15th from 2pm-6pm at the American Legion, located at 316 Lake Street, Elmira, NY 14901. As a small token of appreciation for all that you do, I'd like to invite all active and retired first responders to attend this event at no cost. A complimentary Italian sausage dinner will be provided, with credentials required for entry.
The event is also open to the general public, and tickets are $20 per person. This includes a delicious Italian sausage dinner, live music, and 10 raffle tickets for our exciting auction/raffle.
I've been passionate about giving back to first responders since I was 5 years old. That's when I started using my birthday money to put together thank-you bags for our local police officers. Over the years, my project, "Dakota's Give-Back Project," has grown to include fire departments, EMTs, and veterans. I'm now working towards obtaining 501(c)(3) status, which will allow us to make an even greater impact in our community.
I'm hosting this event to show my gratitude for the bravery and selflessness of first responders like you. Your dedication to keeping our community safe doesn't go unnoticed, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to say thank you.
I hope you can join me on November 15th to celebrate the importance of first responders and enjoy some great food and company. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
