The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE is Presented by Community Arts of Elmira and The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass

The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE 2023 invites Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals in Elmira and the surrounding area to investigate the Elmira urban landscape through photography and glass fusing, exploring multiple themes, including community, connection, and identity.
The program is free and limited to eight students. All materials are provided. This multi-layered arts experience includes classes at Community Arts of Elmira, a field trip to The Corning Museum of Glass, and a culminating exhibition with an opening celebration at Community Arts of Elmira. Positions of Instructional Leadership and Creative Apprentice are part of this program. Professional networking and development, future scholarship, and program leadership opportunities are available, too.
No experience is necessary. Individuals eighteen or older who have an interest in group learning and can maintain consistent attendance over the eight-week session should apply, as the work is cumulative.
