This was our 2018 “5 Year Shirt”. We’ve added plenty more titles since then. Reflecting back has been an eye opener for me. If I could do it all again type stuff.
Confidence - we had a ton of confident kids come get humbled at our club. Only to have that confidence restored through hard work and finding success. Competence - we’ve had a ton of great kids come get out worked. Ultimately finding success through hard work and building on their skills. Put the 2 C’s together along with hard work and you can build Champions.

Starting February 2nd, I will be coaching 2 classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. Keeping the classes safe by the numbers and sizes.
Littles at 5:30 to 6:30 and 10 through the teens from 6:30-7:30.

First, thank you to many of you who reached out and continued to show overwhelming support; it really means a ton to me and my family.

Second, I have been trying to find a coach and a team that can accommodate our fairly large kids programs. It was a challenge to find Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu classes for kids but here are some options that I would recommend:

Maximus has Muay Thai for kids and adults. Please call Kelly at 847-312-5355 to get information on class details; she can tell you how they will be operating during Phase 3 of the re-opening. I spoke with Rich Abraham and he said that he will open up a kids Jiu Jitsu class if he can get enough kids; he will set up a class if there are at least 10 kids. Please note that Coach Mike Cimm (New Breed/Illinois Grappling Club/True Prodigy Coach) is there for the adults and teens Jits classes.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you transition and continue your martial arts training. Remember that nobody outworks a TRUE PRODIGY.

Not every kid (or parent) wants to compete. Competitions win or lose builds confidence, finds holes that need to be strengthened. It helped all my gym kids learn the value of preparation and hard work. Even if they didn’t compete they trained with the ones that did.
