Congratulations to our Oak Hill Lady Rams Jr. High Softball Team who picked up their first TWO wins of the season, defeating Plainview 5–3 and Fairview 6–5!

Against Plainview:
•6th grader, Ashton Hodnett tripled and drove in a run
•6th grader, Kenzie Townley collected a hit and drove in a run
•6th grader, Madisyn Cook collected a hit
•7th grader, Addi Golemon collected a hit and drove in a run
•7th grader, Rylee Fredieu collected a hit
6th grader, Maggie Lamkin drove in a run

Can’t win ball games without scoring runs. The Lady Rams had 6 stolen bases as a team; 6th grader, Madisyn Cook and 8th grader, Allie Hoffman each stole multiple bases, helping the Lady Rams secure the win over Plainview, 5-3.

💙🥎✨🥎💙

Game two versus Fairview was one to watch! 8th grader, Claylee Carpenter dominated the bases and stole home to put Lady Rams on the board! It wasn’t until the top of the 4th inning that our Lady Rams’ took to the bases and bats came alive!

7th graders, Jillian Herbert and Riley Fredieu both with a walk and two stolen bases that put them in scoring position when Addi Golemon got up to bat.

Addi was 2 for 2, coming through with a HUGE triple on the seventh pitch of her at-bat that drove in 2 runs boosting our score 3-5, Fairview still in the lead.

To finish the top half of the inning, Maggie and Kenzie both got on base by errors and stole their way into scoring position, allowing Ashton the opportunity to capitalize and deliver a clutch single, driving in both runs!

Maggie L. earned the win, pitching 4 innings, allowing 4 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 0! She held our lead, striking out three batters to end the game in only 9 pitches! 🔥

Way to start the season off strong ladies!! Let’s bring this same energy into Monday’s game as we take on Fairview again. 💙🥎✨

Today was the last day of our Lady Rams Softball Skills Camp! 💙🥎

What an awesome few days it's been! We've enjoyed watching each camper grow in confidence, sharpen their softball skills, make new friendships, and bring amazing energy every single day.

To all of our campers—thank you for your hard work, positive attitudes, and willingness to learn. You represented what it means to become a future Lady Ram: compete, encourage one another, and have fun while getting better.

A huge thank you to our guest coaches, players, volunteers, and families for helping make our first Lady Rams Softball Skills Camp such a success. We couldn't have done it without your help and support!

As we conclude our camp, always remember:
✨Keep working when no one is watching.
✨You get better one rep at a time.
✨Stay confident, stay coachable, and always play with heart.

Leave it all on the field!
Build Skills. Build Confidence. Be a Lady Ram!

Day 2 of our Lady Rams Softball Skills Camp and the girls were on fire today showing off their skills! We had a special guest today, former NSU Softball D1 Athlete, Kayla Roquemore OBannon joined us to teach the girls fundamentals in outfield, hitting, and base running! We got dirty and had some fun today!

We had so many spotlight moments throughout day 2 of camp! Each of our athletes push beyond their boundaries and comfort zones to set a standard for themselves as athletes and most importantly as a Future Lady Ram! 💙
🌟Camp Spotlights: Day 2🌟

✨ 6th Grader: Maggie Lamkin showed out today with her no quit attitude and willingness to give 110% no matter the drill that required her to push past her own comfort zone and get dirty! 💪

✨6th Grader: Ashton Hodnett showed her drive, determination, and commitment to being the best all around athlete today! Lookout, we have a utility player in the making with this one!

📣 shoutouts to 4th grader, Avianna Wehunt and 7th grader, Addi Golemon for their consistant fearlessness when laying it all out for balls in the outfield!

Enjoy the pics! ✨💙🥎💙✨
