Player Spotlight: Amber Hodges

Amber is a junior who has been such a fun addition to our volleyball family this year! It’s been so fun watching her gears turn as she learns new skills, figures out the game, and puts it all together on the court. Her energy is contagious, and her hustle is something you can’t miss! She has an incredible ability to move her body toward the ball from just about anywhere on the court and somehow finds a way to keep plays alive. Beyond what she brings to the court, we’ve really loved getting to know Amber and watching her open up throughout the season. She is an incredible athlete, and it’s been a no-brainer that she belongs in the gym with us. We feel lucky she chose to give volleyball a shot and are so excited to have her along for the ride!

Player Spotlight: Cassidy

Cassidy is a sophomore who brings a steady presence to our program and is excited to be back competing on the court! After spending last season injured, she’s been working toward some big goals of her own and putting in the work to get there. She’s determined, patient with the process, and willing to keep pushing herself as she finds how to come back from injury bigger and better than ever! We’ve loved watching her work toward the things she wants and seeing that determination show up more and more each day!! Cassidy also has a crazy good serve with some serious power behind it! We’re excited to watch her continue building confidence, chasing her goals, and finding her rhythm this season!! 🏐

Player Spotlight: Teagan McDaniel

Teagan is a senior who has brought such an exciting impact to our team this year. After excelling in her cross country career the past few years, she has stepped back into the volleyball world and has shown just how naturally she can adapt. She’s willing to tackle any position weather that’s dominating the back row, putting up sets, or attacking at the net; she can take on whatever we ask of her and do it at 100%. One of the many things that stick out about her is her relentless desire to keep the ball alive and make the next play better. She’ll chase just about anything down and refuses to let a ball hit the floor without a fight! We’ve loved having her energy, determination, and her sweet & smiley personality in the gym this year!

Player Spotlight: Hadley Keim

Hadley is a sophomore who has continued to put time into volleyball and shows up ready to keep working and learn more. She’s dedicated to the team, and has continued to push herself even through the summer to keep getting better! She may not always be the loudest voice in the gym, but when things get tough, something switches on, and that competitiveness comes out! She finds a way to dig a little deeper, encourage her teammates, and push for the win! One of the things we’ve loved most about Hadley is watching her grow, both as a player and as a person. She truly wants to improve, and we’ve loved getting to know her better and encouraging her to open up and let more of her personality shine! We’re excited to see what she continues to build this season! 💛

Player Spotlight: Ashlyn Hellriegel

Ashlyn has a competitive drive that is impossible to miss and a genuine love for the game. She’s a fighter, and brings a big presence to the court! Some of the many things we love about Ashlyn is the way she continually develops and digs further every day, trusts her coaches, supports her teammates, and the way she plays with an absolute fire! But there’s more to Ashlyn than that competitive side, and we love that side of her just as much! It’s a pretty great combination; big competitor, big personality, and a heart that shows up!💛
