Expectations are made known to students right at the start, and they understand the consequences of disobedience.

These rules are posted at the range to remind students and spectators of the expectations.

Congrats to Katelyn Krause who earned her first 25-straight patch at the Hill Farm Range a couple weeks ago. She also took 1st place with a score of 48/50. Way to go Katelyn!

Shooting sports include a lot of breath work. You want slow, even breathing to keep your shot steady.

They also involve a lot of structure, repetition, and rhythm that can have calming effects.

Shooting sports are kind of like golf in that there aren’t many unexpected surprises, but there are enough variables to keep it interesting day after day and year after year.

And, of course, a good shot or overall score produces a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
