gang cutting knee braces.

when you have a stack of knee braces to cut, one of the most effective ways to move through them is to treat each cut like an assembly line.

first, set the saw and cut all of your shoulders. perform that same operation on every brace before moving on.

then stack the braces together like we have here, set the saw depth, and gang cut the cheeks.

one setup. one operation. repeat.

instead of completing one brace at a time, you're performing the same operation across the entire batch. it keeps the process consistent and can make surprisingly quick work of a pile of knee braces.

this is one of my favorite things about the gtm v1000.

no climbing up and down off a tractor. no pushing a clutch. just step on, step off, move the timber and keep working.

saves me a whole bunch of time and heartache around star hill.
