Enhanced Concealed Carry Class August 8th 2020.
At West Ellisville Baptist Church family life center. Class starts at 8am. Cost is $80 per person and proceeds benefit Jones County Havoc travel baseball team!
Everyone needs a minimum of 25 rounds of ammo, ear, and eye protection. This is an eight hour class with the first part at the church followed with live fire after lunch. Contact me with any questions. 601-382-2516

Concealed carry applicants: the MHP & DL offices in Hattiesburg are open to accept permit applications on Wednesday’s only from 8-4. You go to the DL office FIRST then across the street to the MBI office to be printed. Please share!

if anyone is curious about House Bill 1083 here is a brief explanation. In 2017, the Mississippi Attorney General’s office issued an opinion which turned this law on its head, ruling that controllers of public property could restrict enhanced carry permit holders in additional locations – far beyond the areas HB 506 specified they could still not carry. This is not what firearm instructors, enhanced carry permit holders or legislative supporters have believed the law to be for the last 5+ years. HB 1083 would remedy this situation and clarify the original intent of the enhanced carry permit law. It would also make clear that rules and policies adopted by controllers of public property that conflict with the law have no force and effect.
