Hey there, Door County community! 🚲☕️

Calling all coffee nerds, nature lovers, and bicycle riding enthusiasts. We are going to be starting a very fun series of bike adventures and coffee meetups this summer and fall, and we hope you’ll join us.

Starting June 13th, we’ll be hosting a series of six group bicycle rides that include an outdoor stop where we will make and enjoy our morning coffee in the beauty of some of Northern Door’s most picturesque locations. coffee will be provided at outdoor stops courtesy of Kick Ash and brewed in the wild by yours truly!

All are welcome! This is a social no-drop ride with the main purpose of connecting on some of the backroads and trails we know and love!

No bike? No sweat! The routes and outdoor stops will be announced ahead of time so you can join for the community even if are not able to join the ride!

The series will kick off at Kick Ash in Ellison Bay, with future meetup and coffee stops to be determined soon! Stay tuned for updates via Door County All-Terrain Cycle Club and Kick Ash Products!

Hey there 👋

I’m Jarrett, and this is Door County ATB. I’ve started this account to document my riding in a different way. Cycling, to me, is more than a sport. It’s freedom. It’s how I move, how I notice, and how I stay connected. It’s a small rebellion against the noise. It’s a return to something quieter, slower, and more true. I moved to Door County full time last fall and since then I’ve been exploring as much as I can. No big goals. No master plan. Just out here.

DCATB is a way for me to share those rides, my love for the outdoors, and maybe connect with other folks who like bikes and nature and the moments where those things intersect. As the weather starts to improve, I’m hoping to try and organize some group rides. If that’s something that sounds cool, I’d love to ride with you. Come say hello!

First ride back after a couple of months off the bike, and man, I’ve missed this. Taking a break—especially when it’s not by choice—is tough, and the mental side of it can be even harder than the physical. If I’ve learned anything though, it’s that life (and riding) is a marathon, not a sprint. You gotta give yourself some grace if I want to come back stronger. One ride at a time.

2024 was a big year—grateful for the move to Door County and the chance to call this amazing place home. I’m looking forward to diving deeper into exploring the beauty of this peninsula in 2025.

This year, I’m excited to host more rides, meet new people, and share the trails and roads that make this place so special. If you love bikes and the outdoors, let’s connect—I’d love to ride with you.

Spent the weekend hanging out with the good folks at Bikepacking is at the intersection of all things I love about cycling: the freedom to explore, the simplicity of carrying just what you need, and the camaraderie of friends (new and old) sharing the trail. Sean has brought together an incredible group of people, and Bago Bikes hosts one of the best event calendars I’ve seen from a bike shop. Keep an eye out for their 2025 lineup!
