When you are a true Karateka of Dan grade,you carry the character of that grade and not look or act like a buffoon,clown and an idiot on any social media. Your Dan level grade and standards isn’t suspended outside the dojo.

Student’s and followers. Sunday is Mother’s Day and every mother should celebrate with their family. So we are going to play this week by ear. The dojo will be set up just in case you want to get a workout in but don’t feel obligated. ( unless mom wants to start classes then by all means bring her.☺️) Have a happy Mother’s Day from H.S.O.I.

Attention students and followers.
Part of being a good teacher, Mentor, and an all around responsible martial arts school is putting your students well being above yours. And adapting to ever changing adversaries. Right now mother nature has sent us a curve ball for the start of 2021. Last week it was snow and ice and treacherous driving. We canceled classes for your safety. This week and next week it is dropping temperatures. It is a challenge on good day's when the temperature is 20 to 30 degrees outside to keep the dojo at a tolerable temperature to work out in. And they are talking neg Temps for the next two weeks.

Now with all that being said I am not closing down for cold Temps. If you are willing to come to me and learn I will be here to teach. But we are going to move the dojo into the main house where it is warm.

To all of my students. I appreciate all of you and thank you from my heart for carrying on my legacy.

Attention students and followers.

Today is the last day this year to get up here and start or take classes. H.S.O.I will be closed for the Christmas and New Years holidays. We will open back up on January 10th for full class schedules. Looking forward to the new year and to see what 2021 holds for our little small town dojo. If we don't get a chance to see you before we would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a truly inspiring New Year. See you next year and practice all you have been given.
