Don’t forget to enjoy a fun time in Ellinwood !!! Temps are lower and the After Harvest Fest is going on . Complete the 3D course , Saturday parade is at 10:00 followed by some awesome food trucks on Main Street.
Course is set to have fun, scores don’t matter- random draw cash winners :)

Thank you for the patience the last few years as several things have changed at the range in the summer time in regards to range care and maintenance.

We’ll start off with the bad news, there will no longer be any 3D targets left on the course to shoot all year long, the targets are in poor shape and we don’t have the time to fix and maintain them like Tom did for so many years.

The good news, we will be lowering our yearly membership rates to compensate and also will be bringing back some monthly 3D shoots that will give you plenty of time to hit the targets! We won’t have planned set dates each month but will just try to post in advance when the range and stakes are set. Generally will try and have the course set for 4 days of shooting. The static range will remain open all year long for our members!

Monthly shoots will be a pay to play format. There is a mailbox with score cards and envelopes to put your payment in and next to it a locked drop box to deposit the payments into, (located under awning between shooting line and concession trailer) you will be allowed up to 2 rounds of 20 targets per day, you can also pay again to shoot another day. Each payment received will be entered into a drawing for cash prizes and the number of drawings will be determined by how many shooters we have that week!

I’m sorry for those that only want to do tournament style shoots but our personal schedule is too busy to run those in the summer, if someone would like to run a tournament feel free to let us know and we will help set up for that!

Use your memberships to prepare for state ASA. The bag area is mowed and branch work is almost complete . Dj has done a lot of cleanup this week. Stay tuned for upcoming event

Did we need rain? Yes we did… next time it can skip the archery range 🙂 If you really wanna fight the mosquitos. The bag range area is mostly mowed. Right off the line is pretty think so we need to take our big tractor mower down there . Path cleared to the Buffalo. We are addressing target fixes/ replacements- so nothing is inside the 3D range . Enjoy the pterodactyl mosquitos 🦟 please watch for dangling limbs as broken pieces keep falling.

Large branches have been cleared. Hoping to get the “grass” mowed this week. Please be aware some limbs may still be loose needing further work.

It’s all green and cut 🙂 enjoy some archery . Sorry for the delay, mower issues and rain made for quite the day catching up. You will need bug spray 🙂
