Tonight, we wrapped up an incredible month of Kids Wrestling Camp! 🤼💪

For many of these young wrestlers, this was their very first time stepping onto the mat and learning the basic fundamentals of the sport. We look forward to next year continuing with additional camps to further build the foundation for these kids.

We also appreciate the extra assistance from our high school wrestlers who were able to attend over the course of the month.

We are excited to partner with ERC to provide our youth the opportunity to begin developing wrestling fundamentals. By continuing to grow wrestling within our community at the youth level, we can help build and strengthen our middle school and high school programs for the future.

Gabe Martinez ends his senior year with a 4th place finish! Great year to be proud of and to see his progression since his freshman year has been amazing! ** Gabe has made history as the first state placer for Ellinwood Boys!!

Jenna Borror secures a 3rd place finish by getting a takedown in the final 15 seconds!!

Both Jenna Borror and Gabe Martinez have won in the consolation semifinals and will be wrestling for 3rd place!!!

Day 2 set to begin at 9am.

Mckena Parker will be fighting in the consolation wrestle backs against D. Sowers of Oberlin-Decatur County.

Nick Miller will also be fighting in the consolation wrestle backs against D. Hund of Pleasant Ridge.

Both Gabe Martinez and Jenna Borror are in the consolation semifinals and will be awaiting their competition.

💪 McKena Parker (1-1) and Nick Miller (1-1) will continue battling on Saturday.
❤️ Ali Gonzalez (0-1) had her season come to an end due to injury.
👊 Cambree Erb (0-2) fought hard, but her season also concludes today.
