Team Ellington Ridge headed to Pebble Beach last week to play in the Monterey Bay Invitational Pro-Am! The team consisting of Scott Vroman, Tim Heaney, Brad Kidney, Dave Olender, and Paul Murphy finished tied for 7th out of 90 teams! Special shoutout and huge congratulations to Tim Heaney for winning Low Senior Amateur🎉 Congratulations guys! 🏆

Our Story

Ellington Ridge Country Club was founded in 1959 and has been frequently cited by Connecticut Magazine as among the ten best country clubs in Connecticut. We are a private membership, full-service country club, offering golf, pool, dining, banquet facilities, and a seasonal snack bar. We offer a variety of membership categories to accommodate both personal and business activities. Since our inception, we have hosted numerous prestigious events including: Traveler's Qualifier, US Open qualifying, CT Open Championships, CWGA Amateur Championships, Collegiate Invitational and AJGA Junior Championship events. Many of our members and products of our Junior Golf program have competed in these events.

Site ERCC is located 16 miles northeast of Hartford in the town of Ellington just minutes from Interstate 84. It is situated in a beautiful pastoral setting with a view of sunsets across the Connecticut River Valley from the clubhouse patio. The secluded property includes 4 spring fed ponds, a mixture of hard wood and coniferous trees, and open naturalized areas for birds and wildlife. Golf Course

Our Par 72, 18 hole championship golf course was designed by the noted golf architect, Geoffrey Cornish, and has undergone numerous major improvements in the last 50 years.

Our golf course measures close to 7000 yards from the championship tees and includes 7 additional progressively shorter teeing grounds for golfers of all skill levels. Our practice areas include a 6 acre driving range, 2 practice putting greens and a dedicated short game practice area. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, family oriented club and are recognized as having one of the top Junior golf programs in the state. Course conditions at ERCC support play and motorized carts throughout the entire golf season, even during and after heavy rains. A typical round of golf at ERCC is played in four hours or less.

Pool Facilities Our Olympic sized swimming pool has both swimming lanes and a diving area and is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. The pool facility also has a separate area specifically dedicated to our toddler wading pool. Our resort like atmosphere caters to our members where they can order food and drinks. Kids and adults play ping pong, pool basketball and use our dedicated locker area for changing or storing personal items. Our pool is staffed by lifeguards and swim instructors who provide Red Cross certified swim lessons level 1-6. Throughout the summer, we host a number of pool parties and movie nights at the pool for our members and their families -- come join the fun! Dining Facilities Our dining facilities offer one of the best dining and culinary experiences anywhere in the area. We have 3 distinct dining areas; our casual Grill Room and bar, our more formal Main Dining Room and our Terrace Room and outdoor patio, where throughout the season members congregate for dinner or drinks to capture the spectacular sunsets over the Connecticut River Valley. Our Executive Chef and his staff offer a continuous rotation of seasonal entree selections that are served with artistic presentation. We host dinner events, various tastings as well as holiday events throughout the year for our members. In addition, we offer banquet opportunities for weddings, showers, bar and bat mitzvah's, business gatherings and community events hosted by both members and non-members throughout the year. Membership ERCC has a very active golfing membership with both Men's and Women's 9 and 18 hole golf leagues as well as weekend games. Our Junior Golf program is a top program in the state, with many of our young players going on to compete on high school and collegiate golf teams, in state and national amateur championships as well as state and national professional championships! The membership at ERCC is extremely friendly and diverse in many ways. ERCC is a family club offering a wide selection of membership categories to accommodate virtually every personal circumstance. We are always considerate of our member's time and are proud that our pace of play averages under 4 hours for playing 18 holes. Membership Categories include:
