What’s actually within my control right now?

Every time I ask myself this question, I stop wasting energy on things I can’t change and start moving forward on the things I can.

âś… Showing up for my workouts and recovery
âś… Eating foods that make me feel good most of the time
✅ Going to bed at a reasonable hour instead of convincing myself “just one more episode” should be a default setting.

I’ve committed to doing this exercise every few months; it’s a quick mental reset that includes asking myself:

What are the two or three things that deserve most of my attention right now?

I focus on the handful of actions that, repeated often enough, quietly move me closer to where I want to go.
