We are saddened to share the passing of Diamond Director Glenn Madsen, who served the Ellensburg Rodeo as a Director from 1987 to 2001 and left a lasting impact on our Rodeo.

During his time on the board, Glenn served as Royal Court Director for eight years and helped redesign the royal court selection process in the early 1990s. He also took on parade responsibilities, oversaw concessions, and spent his final six years working closely with the Yakama Nation. Glenn was instrumental in creating the encampment in the northeast corner of the Rodeo grounds, where it remains today.
