It's Cooler Day today! This is the final event in our Starter Horse Trials series, with Champions and Reserve Champions awarded at the end of today's competition. Can’t wait to see who takes them home!

Something special happened Saturday morning just before the start of the August Recognized Horse Trials. The morning briefings were paused as Molly Pellegrini (USEA President) stepped forward and asked that Sally Ike join her. Starting with a long list of highlights regarding Sally’s achievements and contributions, Molly then shared with Sally and the crowd of volunteers, officials, and guests that she has been invited to join the Hall of Fame Gala in December for her formal induction to the USEA Hall of Fame.

Sally’s induction is a tribute to her years of dedication to the sport of Eventing. Fair Hill International is proud to have two Board members (Tim Gardner is the other) receive this honor. On behalf of FHI, Mary Coldren presented Sally a beautiful bouquet.

Sally appeared surprised by the recognition, and after a few brief words, resumed her role as Show Jumping judge for the weekend. It was a great weekend "kicked off” by great news. Thank you Sally for all that you do for eventing and for Fair Hill International!
