There are yoga classes...
…and then there are workshops where you leave understanding your body in an entirely new way.

If you've ever wondered:
• Why do my knees ache after walking?
• Why do I keep locking my knees?
• Why does one knee hurt but not the other?
• What should I actually be doing to protect my knees?

This workshop was designed to answer those questions.

Expect practical education, thoughtful movement, plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and techniques you'll continue using long after the workshop ends.

Suitable for all levels, whether you're managing discomfort, hoping to prevent future issues, or simply wanting a healthier, more sustainable yoga practice.

Quick question...
When you stand, where is your weight?

Your heels?
Your toes?
The inside edges of your feet?
One foot more than the other?

Most of us have no idea.

Yet those tiny habits influence how force travels through the ankles, knees, hips, and spine every single day.

One of the things students love most about Lucy's workshops is discovering the small adjustments that create surprisingly noticeable changes in comfort and stability.

Sometimes the biggest improvements begin with the smallest shifts.

"I've stopped doing certain things because my knees hurt."

The truth is, avoiding movement isn't always the answer.
Very often, the answer is learning how to move differently.

During this workshop, you'll explore safe ways to bend, straighten, balance, and load the knees without creating unnecessary stress. You'll learn why hyperextension matters, how proper tracking protects the joint, and how building balanced strength can restore confidence in movement.

The goal isn't to do more.
It's to move smarter.

One of the biggest misconceptions about knee pain?

That you should simply "strengthen your knees."
Your knees don't have muscles.

They rely on the muscles above and below them to do their job.

In this workshop, we'll explore how the quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, hips, ankles, and even the arches of your feet all influence knee stability. Understanding why these relationships matter often changes the way students approach movement forever.

This workshop is especially valuable for yoga teachers, movement professionals, and curious students who enjoy learning the anatomy behind healthy movement—not just practicing poses.

Includes:
✔ Recording
✔ Take-home handout
✔ 2 Yoga Alliance CE credits

Have you ever noticed that some people seem to stay active well into their 70s and 80s while others begin avoiding stairs, long walks, or even getting down on the floor?

It's not always about age.

More often, it's about how well the body has learned to distribute force through the feet, legs, hips, and core. Healthy knees depend on a team effort—not just the knee joint itself.

In this experiential workshop, Lucy Lomax will show you how simple changes in alignment and muscle engagement can make everyday movement feel more supported and less stressful on your knees.

Whether you're hoping to keep hiking, walking your dog, traveling comfortably, or simply getting up from the floor with confidence, stronger movement patterns can make all the difference.

Lower back discomfort is often treated where it hurts—but the solution is frequently found somewhere else.

One of the most important jobs of the core is to support and protect the spine during movement. When those deeper stabilizing muscles aren't doing their job well, the lower back often compensates.

Join Lucy Lomax for an active workshop that explores how the transverse abdominis, obliques, pelvic floor, and spinal support muscles work together to create stability, strength, and endurance.

You'll leave with a better understanding of how your body creates support, along with practical tools you can use in yoga practice and everyday life.

Whether you're looking to build strength, improve posture, support your yoga practice, or better understand your body, this workshop offers a practical and approachable path forward.

If persistent lower back tension has been affecting how you move, exercise, or feel in your body, this workshop offers a practical path forward.

Weak or poorly coordinated core muscles often place extra demand on the lumbar spine. But when the deep core learns to support movement properly, everything changes.

Through mindful strengthening, targeted yoga movement, and clear instruction, you’ll learn how to create stability, reduce discomfort, and move with greater confidence.

Join us for an afternoon focused on building strength, improving support, and creating lasting comfort in your core and lower back.
