Okay Okay! Hot off the press I (Becki) FINALLY got my life together and got our shirts ready to order. Thank you to Nick Fredrickson with Grid Custom Tees he has the patience of a saint without his persistence, they would not have gotten done. Race recap from Elko Speedway 5/23/26

With our friends Michelle N Wade Brelje taking care of the car, and brining it to the track, Macie was at the track early enough to make all 3 practice sessions! We found an issue with the way she was driving the car in the first session. With some mental adjustments she went out and found a good amount off speed that she was missing in practice 2 and 3.

Qualifying came and went with a P9 qualifying position.

Heat 1. The track was having some issues with the timing and scoring system so our race lineups were unclear. She should have started P4, but they started her P7. She drove straight up to the front and was spun out passing for the lead. To the back she went again and was up to third when the leaders made contact and spun out. Macie spun out to avoid them and again went to the back. She battled hard on what was supposed to be a green white checkered, but the race was cut 1 lap short. She finished P2 almost side by side with the leader, earning her a spot in the A feature.

A feature. Started 9th and avoided a few early wrecks, made some good passes and was up to 3rd or 4th? She had great speed and was up on the wheel. Towards the end the car started to fall off a bit and she finished P7.

Overall a great night. We learned a lot and have some ideas on how to improve the car and the driver for the next time out!

There is no racing for us at Elko this week, so we are making our way out to Tomah Sparta Speedway this Friday to get a little change of scenery, and get the girl some more seat time!

After missing opening night at Elko Speedway for a successful weekend of dance, we finally made it out to race. With Mom and Dad laid up with a broken foot for Mom, and a broken leg for Dad, racecar preparation was kind of put on the back burner. Luckily our friends Michelle N Wade Brelje offered to come over and pick up the car, get it ready to race, bring it to the track, and take care of it at the track. We can't thank them enough. It took a huge load off Dad's shoulders. It was hard for Dad to sit in the pits and not get involved, but he will adjust.

We started off practice with some good speed.Michael Doubrava made a few adjustments to help dial the car in even better.

Qualifying got a little messed up with traffic and not being able to run our preferred line, but still ended up qualifying 10th earning a spot in the main events.

Feature 1 started on the outside pole. The start got messed up and we got flushed to the back. She continued to fight hard and came home 9th.

Feature 2 we were supposed to start 3rd, but had to pull into the pits for an issue with the front bumper. Since she pitted the race director decided that she needed to start at the back of the field. She drove hard and avoided several wrecks getting up to 4th. The front bumper issue came back to bite us again and she received the black flag and had to pull off the track. Due to other cars that had crashed and had mechanical issues, she still ended up 10th.

We have some work to do, but Macie was very happy with speed of the car. We will get a bit more practice in and will come back even stronger.

She DID IT!!! Well her and her TEAM did it! She brought home not 1 but 2 National Championships!!!
2 of her 4 Dances placed FIRST in thier Division! We are so incredibly proud of her and her team and absolutely love being part of Richfield Bloomington Just For Kix. Now she is counting down the days until she can hop behind the wheel of her Race Car and hit the track!!! Special Thanks to Michelle N Wade Brelje for picking her car up and getting it Race Ready since her car owner and I are down for the count! We appreciate it so very much!

We are still here chasing a National Championship, Next Dance up…. Elevator…..Straight to the Top!!! We will update more later it’s been a busy weekend watching my friends, coaches and teammates leave it all on the floor! A part of my heart is with my Elko friends and family and I hope they are all having a blast at Season Opener!!! See you next week!!!

As some of you may or may not know, Macie is not only a race car driver, but she is also a competitive dancer. Usually these seasons do not overlap too bad, but with Elko Speedway starting a month earlier this year we ran into a conflict. That being said Macie Ryan Racing will not be racing this Saturday May 2nd. Instead she will be chasing 4 national dance titles in Rochester, MN. We were waiting for the dance schedule to come out to see if we could make both work, but sadly we can not. We apologize to our fans, friends, and sponsors. Macie will be making her season debut on May 9th at Elko Speedway. We will see everyone there!
