Wow! What an incredible weekend with all of these Athletes and many others that came to support their athletes. If you know me at all I am not a posting type of person. Owning a gym and having people like this and many others that don’t compete make me get out of my own comfort level and I feel compelled too! I absolutely have the coolest “members” or people I really just call my friends. I can’t express the feelings of love and respect that I get watching people overcome hard things. This weekend was really on a small moment in every single persons life that they had to shine. It is not what defines them but something that should elevate each and every one of them. The days of coming in for extra practice and learning new movements and yes even feeling overwhelmed by jumping to a 96in bar were all worth the effort. As I drove home last night I was able to take time to think about every one of these friends of mine and notice how far they have come! I mean all of them have changed, some more mentally than physically and that is so awesome! That side of the equation is the hardest thing to develop and all of you have had these breakthrough moments! I had a few this weekend as well! I grew a little this weekend because of all of you! That last event Brayden Stepper and I won would’ve impossible without our cheering squad. I actually heard all of you as I died on the bike. I have so much to say but can’t put into words how I feel right now. The past few months have been so chaotic yet coming together with all of you for a weekend of “rest” from the daily grind was exactly what I needed. Seriously though the emotions in this moment are real and profound. I love every single one of you and all the rest of our Last Rep Family! I can’t wait to see where our road leads us in the next 5-10 years. Will we progress, heck yeah we will. Together we will continue to become better versions of ourselves! Thank you for sharing your moments of growth with me and allowing me to be a part of your life journey.
