What a great way to kick off dove season at Easter Ferry Hunting Preserve!

Before heading to the fields, everyone enjoyed some incredible BBQ, caught the football games on TV, and spent time visiting with friends and fellow hunters. It was the perfect way to relax and get ready for the afternoon hunt.

The temperatures were definitely warm, but the birds were flying and the action kept hunters busy throughout the day. Despite the heat, it was a fantastic start to the season and a great day in the field.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our Opening Season Kickoff Dove Hunt such a success. We enjoyed having you and hope you’ll join us again next year for another great season opener!
