Congratulations to Rick Degroff for his first place finish at the WVGA, Senior Series event held at Canaan Valley Resort. Rick finished first in the Silver Division with a 1 under par 71.

Taking the pain out of the game

We would like to congratulate Mike Cooper on his Albatross/Double Eagle on the par 5, 14th hole at Canaan Valley Golf course today. This is a photo of the winning team of last years Dearborn Cup, played at Canaan Valley Golf Course. The Cup is played in the Ryder Cup format, and is an annual event at Canaan Valley. The gold team will be sponsored by Safe Tees Pouch this September, and will be attempting to win their 4th consecutive Dearborn Cup. Go Gold !

I was teeing off yesterday, and pulled my SafeTees Pouch from my pocket for tee selection. The wind was in my face and I wanted to keep my driver trajectory down, so I chose a 2 1/4 “ from my pouch. I then proceeded to hit a nice low angle drive that ran out nicely. I learned this tee height strategy from the first blog, (Ready, Set...Golf) written by our owner, George Moore. Everyone should read these blogs located on our website www.safeteespouch.com, as they are full of good information. Had a great day golfing at Lodestone Resort in Deep Creek MD. I was invited by my friend Steve and joined by our friend Dawn. The course was beautiful but challenging and was a great opportunity to introduce some folks to Safe Tees Pouch.
