We extend our congratulations to Rodney Reno and Ellie on successfully obtaining an AKC Master Hunter pass this weekend. This achievement has earned Ellie the esteemed Master Hunter title. Ellie was expertly handled by Nathan Atkinson at the SouthWest Missouri Retriever Club's AKC hunt test. Congratulations are in order for all parties involved.

We regret to inform all of our friends that we find it necessary to cancel our 2026 Spring Hunt test.

We have a few roadblocks that will prevent us from putting on the level of hunt test that you would expect from us at AmberJack Farms.

We will continue to have monthly training days only the hunt test is cancelled.

The weather conditions were ideal for our training day at the farm today. All the dogs demonstrated significant effort and encountered some complex setups. Anyone interested please come out and work your dog .

I will put signs out on Hwy 16 and at the entrance gate to the farm.

Look for signs on Springston Ford road on where to turn and which gate to enter the grounds for our training day.

I am moving our training day to Feb 21.
There is another training day scheduled by our friends with Ozark Retrievers so we are moving ours by one week.

Again we have plenty of training ducks so come out and work yours dogs and have fun .

Ellie was guided through this difficult event by Nathan Atkinson owner and pro trainer of Fowlplay retrievers.

While Amber and I are on vacation our Pro dog trainer Jake Stinson is handling both Blue and Cohiba at the HRC International Grand in Wis.

Unfortunately Cohiba went out in the 4th series denying his 7 th Grand pass but my girl Blue made it through achieving her 4th.

Hooray for Blue and Thanks to Jake for guiding Blue through a very tough 5 day series.

So i am posting the street address and map to the farm and directions.

Traveling east on Hwy 16 from Elkins
Ar from the only traffic light.

Go approximately 3.5 miles looking for the AmberJack Farms HRC sign on yiur left which will be Springston Ford Road.

Taking this left you will see more club signs and gates to the farm.
