JBR made our way to Friendship Motor Speedway last night for the Racing for Sully Benefit Race! 🏁

We unloaded with good speed and backed it up in qualifying, putting it P2 — only .004 off the pole! 🔥 We started 2nd in the feature and battled hard all night, bringing it home with a P2 finish! 🏆

Overall, a great night for our team! Congratulations to Wagoner Racing on the win! 👏

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated to Sully and her family during this incredibly tough time. The racing community continues to show what it’s all about! ❤️

🏁 RACE RECAP! 🏁

JBR made the trip to Friendship Motor Speedway last night for the Mid-East Modified Tour race along with the weekly 602 Late Model show!

🔧 MODIFIED:
We qualified 6th out of 18 cars. After qualifying, we went to work and made some wholesale changes to the car. We started 6th in the feature and worked our way forward, battling through the field to bring it home P3! 💪

Had a blast racing our way up through the field and putting this car back on the podium!

🏎️ 602 LATE MODEL:
We qualified 10th out of 20 cars. After qualifying, we made a couple of changes to the car and decided to start at the rear of the field to see how our adjustments would pay off.

Unfortunately, about 6 laps in, something broke in the steering, bringing our night to an early end. 😔

Some nights everything goes your way, and some nights they don’t. That’s racing! We’ll head back to the shop, go to the drawing board, and come back stronger and better than ever! 💪🔥

🏁 Race Recap – Friendship Motor Speedway 🏁

JBR made the trip to Friendship Speedway yesterday after being added to the schedule earlier in the week! We rolled into the track around 4:00 PM, and shortly after, the absolute bottom fell out. Mother Nature dumped around an inch of rain in about an hour. 🌧️

Once the rain stopped, Chuck and the entire Friendship Speedway staff went to work. They threw every resource they had at the track to give the racers and fans the best racing surface possible after all that rain. Some teams loaded up and headed home, but we made the decision as a crew to stay and put on a show for the great fans who stuck it out through the weather.

We finally hit the track around 11:30 PM for hot laps and qualifying.

🏁 Qualified: P1
🏁 Feature: P1 🏆

With the late start, our feature was shortened to 15 laps, but that didn’t slow us down. We led every lap from green to checkered to bring home our 5th win of the season! 🏁🏆

A huge thank you to Chuck and the entire track crew for working tirelessly to make the night happen. We also want to thank TC Construction, Pedulla Excavating & Paving, and the Tucker family for getting us added to the schedule and putting up the bonus money!
