Hello Spruce-Scooters! Ribbon of Hope Cancer Support Ministry and the race team appreciate all of the past support and interest in this event. The Scoot has become very special to each of us on the race organization team as we gather outdoors in unpredictable weather conditions for a morning of fellowship to support our ministry to local cancer patients. This year one of our key volunteers is directly impacted by cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. For a number of reasons the race team has decided not to proceed with the event in 2016. Because this event fills an important financial role enabling our ministry to serve cancer patients we ask that you consider supporting our 15 Days of Giving Campaign, perhaps you’d even consider donating what you would have paid in race entry fees. Regardless, would you join our entire team in prayerfully supporting our team member and friend’s battle against cancer?

The Spruce Scoot 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon trail run is tomorrow! You can still register onsite at Packet Pick up tonight from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Two Rivers Running company inside Elkhart Bike Shop, 411 East Jackson, Elkhart.

Race day onsite registration and packet pick up is Saturday, December 5 from 7:30 am - 8:45 am at Eby's Plantation.

The 5K,10K and Half Marathon all start together at 9:00 am; Kids Fun Run at 10am! See you then!

Only 3 days until this year's Spruce Scoot trail run!! We've been having perfect running weather. Experts say that your body heats up 10 degrees when you run, but we all know everyone is different. Please test your gear in the elements so don't get cold. You can ALWAYS discard clothes at an aid station if you get too hot and pick them up at the end of the event!
