Congratulations to our own Gabe Kazmierczak on setting a new school record in the 100 yd fly during state prelims this past Friday, smashing his own personal best time, and earning himself an 8th seed in the finals on Saturday!
Gabe finished his high school swimming career placing 8th overall in the state! Woo hoo!! 👏🌊🏅

A HUUUUGE CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our own Gabe Kazmierczak who placed 7th in the IHSAA state finals today in BOTH the 200yd IM and 100yd backstroke!
Additionally, Gabe broke his own school record (again) in the 200yd IM (WHICH HE SET YESTERDAY😲)!

Gabe, your drive, hard work, and perseverance have gotten you here and we couldn't be happier for you! Relish the moment, wear your new hardware proudly, and enjoy the applause from us!! 👏🏅🦁👏🏅🦁

Elkhart's own Gabe Kazmierczak is at the IHSAA state swim meet this weekend competing in the 200yd IM and the 100yd backstroke. During prelims tonight, Gabe swam himself right into not just one finals race tomorrow... but TWO FINALS RACES! Gabe is seeded in the top 8 for BOTH of his events after tonight's prelims!!

His 200yd IM time of 1:52.15 not only got him into the finals tomorrow afternoon, but also sets a new Elkhart school record by over 1.5 seconds!

Also, Gabe's 100yd backstroke time of 50.58 during prelims tonight was about 1.5 seconds faster than his seeded time.... AND ANOTHER ELKHART SCHOOL RECORD!! 👏👏👏

Congratulations, Gabe, and know that we're all rooting for you as you compete tomorrow!

Congratulations to Gabe Kazmierczak on placing in the top 8 in the 200 IM tonight at the IHSAA prelims with a time of 1:52.15! This lands him in the finals competition tomorrow afternoon! This is also a new Elkhart school record, beating the previous one by over 1.5 seconds! Woo hoo!! 👏👏👏
Now, on to that 100 Backstroke!

Congratulations to our own Gabe Kazmierczak for getting 2nd place in the 200 IM at sectional finals with a time of 1:53.84! With his time, Gabe made the state cut time, as well as breaking his own school record of 1:55.91! AMAZING SWIM, GABE!! CONGRATULATIONS! 🦁🌊💪
