So one day I woke up and decided I needed a dual sport bike in my life, so I bought a drz-400. I get it home and go to take it around the track a couple times and managed to stall it on the first hill. It was at that moment Finley Fisher comes up beside me and says "You're not very good at riding that thing huh? It's ok, it's a bit of a learning curve, you'll get it!" Then later he proceeds to tell Tonya Kent Fisher that she "probably shouldn't ride with me, at least until I get some more seat time"....

There were some SERIOUSLY fast kids out today, like waaay above my pay grade fast 😳 At first I was perhaps a bit overcritical of myself at the prospect of mediocrity...but then dad gave me one of his lame errr I mean inspirational "Reassess your Definition of Success" speeches and it really changed my perspective! For example...i realized that by contrast maybe the sound of the exhaust from that stupid fast KTM in front of me wasn't so terrible after all 🤷‍♂️

Another awesome day of racing! The track conditions at Log Road today were A+ and so was the racing. Had a ton of fun, and managed to place 2nd and 4th overall in my 2 classes! Shout out to my sponsors, Mom ( Tonya Kent Fisher ) & Dad ( Gavin Fisher ), everyone at Fisher Research & Development, and a special thanks to Matt Jones for orchestrating transport of my bikes this weekend!
