This isn’t a new thing but just a friendly reminder for all our EFC members - are you getting enough protein in through out your day??? Protein Guidelines by Goal and Activity:

Active Individuals/Weight Loss: 1.2–1.7g per kg (roughly 0.5–0.8g per lb).
Strength Training/Muscle Gain: 1.6–2.2g per kg (or 0.7–1g per lb).
Older Adults (Over 50-65): 1.0–1.2g per kg to prevent muscle loss (sarcopenia).

Key Considerations
Why It Matters: Protein keeps you full, repairs muscles, and sustains metabolism.
Distribution: For maximum benefit, spread protein intake throughout the day, aiming for 20-40g per meal.
Weight Management: If you are overweight, calculate your protein needs based on your goal weight or use an adjusted weight to avoid overestimation.
