Splash Basketball Philosophy
Splash Basketball Camp is committed to providing a positive and rewarding age-based development basketball camp for the children of our community. Our goal is for every camper to have fun learning experience and to teach each child the essence of competition, hard work and teamwork that directly lead to improvement in all areas of the game. Splash Basketball offers a
solid foundation to develop the fundamental skills of an athlete, ranging from beginning players to improving the already advanced players. Our teaching progression takes into account children's age and skill level to make the camp engaging for all. About the Coaches
Coach Sordello and Coach Adams have been playing basketball together since the 4th grade. They were star basketball players at Milpitas High School in 2004, with a team record of 25-2. Coach Adams went on to play basketball at the collegiate level, helping his team to the state finals at West Valley College. Currently Coach Sordello and Coach Adams are elementary Physical Education teachers in Fremont and Milpitas. Coach Sordello has been coaching the 4th-6th grade boys and girls basketball teams at Maloney Elementary for the past five years. Both have a combined 30 years of coaching experience at the youth level. They successfully started Splash Basketball Camp in the summer of 2016 in the City of Fremont. The coaches enthusiasm, team bond and love for the game is what they are excited to pass on to our youth.
