Players will have the opportunity to develop their basketball skills, build confidence, make new friends and experience the fun of team competition.

Practices begin the first week of December, with games starting in early January. Depending on grade level, games may be scheduled on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings/afternoons.

Official practice and game schedules will be provided at the beginning of the season.

EGV Youth Basketball is excited to participate in Elk Grove’s Oktoberfest Parade again this year, and we want YOU to march with us! 🎉

📅 Saturday, September 19th
⏰ Parade starts at 2:00 PM
📣 Please arrive at 1:30 PM — no later than 1:45 PM
📍 Staging location will be shared once assigned.

Players and coaches are encouraged to wear a previous EGV Youth Basketball jersey or basketball spirit wear! 🏀

Looking for an opportunity for your basketball player to take their game to the next level? EG Feeder Basketball Tryouts are coming up for boys & girls in grades 4–8!

📅 BOYS — Saturday, August 29
📅 GIRLS — Sunday, August 30
📍 Elk Grove High School – Main Gym

🏀 Grades 4/5: 10:00–10:45 AM
🏀 Grade 6: 11:00–11:45 AM
🏀 Grade 7: 12:00–12:45 PM
🏀 Grade 8: 1:00–1:45 PM

💙 And remember — players who make a feeder team can STILL play Elk Grove Youth Basketball House League!

Our 5th–8th grade House games are played on Friday nights, while Feeder games are typically played on Saturdays or Sundays, making it possible for players to participate in BOTH programs! 🙌🏀

Looking to get some extra work in before the season starts? Elk Grove Boys Basketball is hosting Feeder Basketball Clinics for boys AND girls in grades 4–8! 💚💛

Come work on your skills, get some extra reps, and learn from the Elk Grove High School basketball program!

Looking for a great way to keep your 4-7th-grade athlete active this summer? Join the Elk Grove High School Basketball Summer Camp!

This camp is a great opportunity for players to:
🔥 Improve basketball skills
🏀 Compete with peers in games
💪 Work with high school coaches & varsity players
🎯 Build connections before high school

📅 June 8 – June 25
🗓️ Monday – Thursday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Each day includes:
🏀 45 minutes of skill development
🏀 45 minutes of competitive games
