Read that again…

Every January hundreds of individuals hit the gym. Some are wanting to start a new journey, some are wanting to get back into shape, some are looking for a new hobby and some are trying to make time for themselves. Regardless of the reason we all want to start the new year with a new version!!

The reality of it all is that only YOU are going to make that happen. No another single soul can make you go to the gym, find the time for yourself or give you the dedication it takes. As mothers we feel like an hour away from our children is impossible, fathers feel like there are not enough hours in the day for all the chores and as individuals we keep pushing it off for another day. STOP!!

Take the steps to become what you keep laying in bed at night and saying “tomorrow” to, I promise your children and your spouse will make it during the hour that you take care of yourself and focus on your own health‼️

I am thankful for The Pit because I didn’t really get into fitness as much as I could have until about 2 years ago. Yes, it’s weird because I am her son , but I just wasn’t really into it. Then, I started playing lacrosse and realizing I had to get stronger. The Pit has not only made me a healthier human but now all my friends want to succeed and become healthier people too. I have friends that never even thought about working out wanting to workout everyday now. It makes me reach my overall go and teach people the correct and safe ways to lift.

I’m thankful for The Pit because of what it does for my family. Jessica gets to do her passion as a career, which makes her happy and excited about getting up every day. The Pit has also set an example for our son, giving him guidance and ambition to live a healthy life.

I am thankful for the gift of fitness from The Pit because it has made me stronger and healthier, both physically and mentally. As a breast cancer survivor with lymphedema issues and osteoporosis, I have unique fitness needs and Jessica is excellent at meeting those needs and pushing me to work harder. She tailors the workouts to accommodate my abilities, but she never makes it easy and I love that!

🎁I am thankful for the gift of fitness from the Pit because it is helping me reach my fitness goals. It is really hard for me to workout without some modifications due to some health issues that I have. Jessica always ensures that I have a safe workout that still pushes me to meet my personal goals.

I am thankful for The Pit because it helps me stay loose and limber, and most importantly helps my thinking and learning skills stay sharp as I age! Water classes are very beneficial, has helped me maintain strength in my lower body where it was needed, that’s a plus!

I’m thankful for the gift of fitness from The Pit because Jessica keeps me accountable and focused! I’ve been coming to The Pit for around 3 years now and she has continuously helped me reach my fitness goals to become a happier, healthier me. Her determination and dedication to her classes and clients is definitely shown and appreciated by us all!

I’m thankful for the gift of fitness from The Pit because it has helped me get healthier in so many ways, not just physically but also mentally!! I’ve always struggled with my weight, up and down over the years and Jessica has helped me on my weight loss journey for the past few years. I have been able to drop around 65 lbs so far with her help.

I was so excited to find a “boot camp” style gym/personal trainer closer to home. I was able to workout through my entire pregnancy this past year and after having my baby in September dropped even more weight. My 7 year old daughter has shown an interest in fitness as well and likes for me to teach her the different things we do at The Pit. The Pit is a judgment free zone and each person is able to modify the different moves to their fitness level. I’m so grateful for Jessica and The Pit and excited to continue my journey with her.

🎁 I’m thankful for the gift of fitness from The Pit because it helped me reach my fitness and personal goals. I started going to Jessica while training to run a half marathon. It was something I had always wanted to do, but was nervous and apprehensive about. Working out at The Pit helped me with my training, but I also found a group of women who are encouraging and supportive.
