Over the past few years I haven’t been able to consistently attend the gym due to my schedule in the military. In the past year my position at work has changed and I am now afforded time to work on my physical fitness again. I came across Kentucky Strength Farm when I was searching online for local gyms to attend. It seemed like the kind of place I was looking for. When I talked with Kayla about my membership and training opportunities, I knew that KSF was where I wanted to be. I could tell that she is very knowledgeable and passionate about helping people reach, and exceed, their goals when it pertains to physical fitness. I signed up for the strength training, programmed by Apex Revolution Training, just to get my foot in the door again with lifting weights.
When I started this re-entry to lifting, my numbers were 315lb Dead Lift, 225lb Bench, 265lb Back Squat, and 135lb Strict Overhead Press. Once Kayla was able to see where I was for my max lifts, she was able to personally help me with a plan to get stronger. By consistently sticking to the Apex programming, I saw a drastic change in only 9 months! My new max lift numbers were 415 Dead Lift, 270 bench Press, 335 Back Squat, 180 Strict Overhead Press. This is just a testament of how much the people here at KSF know, and how dedicated to their patrons they are. Not only did I see results in the gym, but I also saw an increase in my physical fitness scores for my fitness test in the Army. I raised my scores by 41 points! This would not have been possible without all the guidance and motivation from Kayla, Apex Revolution Training and the rest of the KSF family.
