The Willowood Swim Club began operation as a club in 1956 in Elizabethtown, PA at 600 W Bainbridge St. Competitive swimming began in 1957 and continues today as the Willowood Swim Team. The Willowood Swim Club has grown over the years adding a teaching pool in 1966. Willowood continues today as a private club attuned to community interests. Three swimming pools are available for Willowood members,

a regulation 6 lane, 25 meter competitive pool with diving area and lap lane, recreational / instructional pool, 2 ½ ‘to 5 ½ ‘ deep, and a baby pool with mushroom water drop. Families appreciate, in addition to the baby pool and shallower recreational pool, the well equipped playground, the shaded verandas, picnic tables and a gas grill. All ages can take advantage of the lap lane, basketball court, volleyball court, bocce ball, waffle baseball, waffle golf and shuffle board area. The competitive swim program is available for ages 6 through 18 and competes in the Mid-Penn Swim League. The Willowood Swim Club would like to invite you to be part of the finest aquatic and recreation facility in the area.

Unfortunately maintenance of the upper pool will be ongoing. The issue has been identified and all parties are working diligently to get and replace the required part. We will notify members when the upper pool is back in business.🤞🏻Fingers crossed that’s sooner than later. In the meantime, we will be open for swimming in our other pools and activities on the Club grounds every day, weather permitting. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Attention WWD! This morning, while trying to open the pool for the day, we discovered that the upper pool pump has a part in need of repair. While we wait for that part to be ordered, expedited here, and repaired, our upper pool will be closed. That means the lower pool, baby pool, and grounds are open for your enjoyment. Unfortunately Water Aerobics will also need to be rescheduled for another date. We thank you for your patience as we work through this unexpected repair. In addition, it seems that WhatsApp just sent out a message about the pool being closed until 4pm that was supposed to come out on Tuesday. We’re sorry for the confusion.

Everyday 12-5:30 - all pools open
Monday & Wednesday - the upper pool and baby pool are open 5:30-8; lower pool is closed 6-8
Tuesday & Thursday - the shallow end of the upper pool is closed 5:30-6:15; the lower pool is closed 6-8; the diving well, baby pool, & the deep end of the upper pool are open 6-6:15pm
Friday-Sunday - all pools open 12-8
