More than 50 former runners made the trip back to Etown for the 13th annual Alumni Challenge meet yesterday! This year’s races were both won by the current Jays, but that matters much less than the camaraderie and the celebration of our shared ECXC experience- not to mention the joy of competing in our incredible sport, surrounded by friends! Thanks as always to our Traveling Parents Club™️ for an amazing post-race spread, and thanks to all the alumni who made it to Etown, whether you dared race or not! We will see you next August!

That’s right! The ECXC Alumni Challenge is only FIVE days away! Join us out at the Solar loop for the 13th version of this terrific tradition! And bring the little ones: this year we’re adding the Baby Blue Jay family fun run after the men’s race! See some old friends and make some new ones with your ECXC brothers and sisters. The 29th annual 3k time trial is in the books! We saw terrific results from both teams and even an all-time #2 by Captain Will Inglis! Will’s 8:43 ties him with Ira Herr Hall-of-Famer and 3-time d3 XC All-American Eric Reichert (2 seconds behind team record holder Aaron Focht ‘13. That was only one of many strong performances last night and we’re excited about the possibilities for these teams!

WE’RE BACK! ECXC is back in town and, as always, before we do any running we have a picnic and a men vs. women cake decorating contest! This year’s entries depicted an exceptionally friendly dog and very handsome coach enjoying the twin joys of helping young athletes, and rocking some Buffalo Bills zubaz. The judges panel awarded the coach cake (by the men) this year’s title. And then we devoured them both.

Save the date! The ECXC Alumni Challenge™️ will be held Saturday August 29th! AND this year we are proud to offer a THIRD event: the inaugural Baby Blue Jay 1/2k! So bring those little tykes and line them up at noon for a 500m out-and-back that will help them understand why we love this sport so much. extends a warm Blue Jay welcome to our newest thrower, Savannah Houck! Savannah comes to us from New Holland PA, where she competed at Garden Spot High School. She will study in the biology/pre-med program at Elizabethtown. Welcome, Savannah!

is proud to welcome Jayden Ream to the class of 2030! Jayden is a recent graduate of Octorara HS where she competed in the horizontal jumps. She will study psychology at Etown. Welcome, Jayden!

is pleased to welcome Ava Willis to our class of 2030! Ava Comes to Etown from Warrior Run PA where she competed in the sprints for Hanover Area HS. She will study occupational therapy at Elizabethtown. Welcome, Ava!
