Great class yesterday! We covered a wide range of subjects from sword and shield, spear and shield, and more Glima.

Two new videos are up on the youtube channel and expect more over the coming days.

We are very proud to say that the Longship Viking Combat Society is nearing the point where we will be bringing our own line of synthetic wasters to market.

Our first batch of prototypes arrived today from a local Pennsylvania company which will we will finish in house.

We will start off offering Axes and Seaxes of various lengths but are actively in the R&D phase of bringing our own model of synthetic Viking sword to life as well.

We want to not only have training tools for our own uses but also to be able to make learning Viking Age combat as accessible as possible for others as well!

We would like to give a big shout out to North West Historical Fencing across the pond in the UK.

Great group of people who do very similar training to what we are studying at LVCS.

Their work specifically with Spear and Shield has been inspiring for many of our club!

Excellent class today. Everyone really brought their A-game which made for some very good sparring.

Unfortunately, our camera stopped recording after about 17 minutes so we lost some of the bouts but here's one such excellent bit of sparring between Mike and Kevin.
