As April comes to an end, we are excited to JUMP right into MAY to celebrate mental health awareness month.

In recreation therapy we love using dance and movement as a way to reduce stress and improve self esteem.

Come see us this Saturday for live demonstrations and FREE giveaways as we learn more about the service delievery of recreation therapy to improve mental health symptoms in children! We'll be there from 8-11am!

No, I don't teach all Zumba Kids classes like this, but when the group tells me they want more of a challenge, that's what we do. It's just as much their class as it is mine and I value their feedback. Using music styles that they are familar with builds trust, increases participation, focus, & self confidence. They learned 2 songs that I do in the adults class (with some modifcations) and they nailed it!!!!! 😎

And yes, we do line dances in our Zumba class!!! 😜
