The team is getting ready for world championships in a couple of weeks. This will be Shannon’s 6th trip to worlds and 7th year in a row of invites. This will be Lennox’s 2nd trip to worlds and invites 2 years in a row and Gryphon’s first trip to worlds, his rookie year and just started diving off the dock in July! I’m so incredibly proud of these dogs and what they’ve accomplished. Shannon will be 9 yrs old in December and she is still enjoying all that Dockdogs has to offer. Lennox struggles with confidence still sometimes, but you can certainly tell she loves the game and Gryphon is still new and I’m going slow with him and letting him grow with the sport on his own time. 🧡🖤🧡🖤

The team had a great outing in Vermont this weekend at the GMDD Dockdogs Jumping into Fall event. Gryphon continues to gain confidence making finals and placing second. He placed first in all of his waves this weekend and I couldn’t be prouder of him. Lennox continues to struggle with hesitating on the dock. When she jumps without hesitation, she does great. We will continue to work on this prior to World Championships. Shannon did great and just really continues to enjoy her time on the dock. Lucy had fun being the cheerleader and visiting with folks on her walk abouts. The weather was gorgeous too! Videos to follow!! 🧡🖤🧡🖤

It’s been a bit since I’ve updated our team page. Next month we will be heading to Dubuque, Iowa once again for the Dockdogs World Championships and this is Dockdogs 25th anniversary year so there will be a lot happening! This will be Shannon’s 6th trip to worlds missing only one due to the passing of my husband in 2022. She has received invites every year since we started and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She earned a Lap dog invite and a #4 or express speed retrieve invite. This year we accepted her Dueling Dogs invite as she truly loves this game. Next is Lennox; this year will be Lennox’s 2nd year competing at worlds. She earned a turbo or #3 invite. And last, but not least is the young boy Gryphon. He earned his first invite in Big Air #6 also known as Novice at his very first competition at Tin Woof Inn in Frankfort, Kentucky! I am so proud of my fur kids and can’t wait to see them all have a ton of fun in Dubuque!! 🧡🖤🧡🖤
