We want to take a moment to thank the coaches who stepped up and volunteered their time to coach the boys of summer.

A huge thank you to Brice Engle and Andrew Cockerell for coaching our ACME team, and to Jeremy Agozzino and Bud Compton for leading our JV ACME team.

You are not going to find two nicer young men than Brice and Andrew. This is the third year in a row they have stepped up and helped out our summer program! We would be lost without them.

Summer baseball comes with a lot of moving parts—different lineups, schedules, challenges, and constant adjustments. These coaches accepted that challenge and committed their time and energy for the benefit of our players

Boys fall to Ottawa-Glandorf High School Baseball

Elida Bulldogs ACME Stymied By Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME

Elida Bulldogs ACME couldn't keep up with Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME and fell 14-4 on Wednesday at Bath High School.

Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME opened the scoring in the first after Landon Pester singled, scoring one run.

Jack Daugherty homered to left field on a 78 MPH pitch, which helped Elida Bulldogs ACME tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

A single by Carson Yaeger gave Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.

Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME scored five runs on three hits in the top of the sixth inning. Haiden Aldrich singled, scoring two runs, Yaeger doubled, scoring two runs, and Adam Maag drew a walk, scoring one run.

Nolan Duling earned the win for Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME. The starter allowed eight hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six and walking four. Daugherty took the loss for Elida Bulldogs ACME. The starter went four innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking four.

Elida Bulldogs ACME accumulated 10 hits in the game. Chace Rhine went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Elida Bulldogs ACME in hits. Daugherty, Rhine, Colton Graham, and Trevor Maxwell each drove in one run for Elida Bulldogs ACME. Jonan Snyder collected two hits for Elida Bulldogs ACME in three at bats. Jayden Siefker led Elida Bulldogs ACME with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Elida Bulldogs ACME turned one double play in the game.

Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME collected 15 hits in the game. Yaeger drove the middle of the lineup, leading Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME with five runs batted in. The first baseman went 4-for-4 on the day. Pester and Yaeger each collected four hits for Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME. Haiden Aldrich collected three hits for Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME in four at bats. Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Maag and Brian Giesige led the team with two free passes each. Ottawa-Glandorf Titans ACME didn't commit a single error in the field. Pester had the most chances in the field with 10.

⚾️🔥 Elida stays alive in the District 5 ACME Baseball Congress Winners Bracket! Elida picks up a 10-5 victory over Bath! Player of the Game was Carson Kirk. Carson pitched a complete game giving up zero earned runs. He went 2-3 at the plate with five RBI and a three run home run.

Elida Bulldogs ACME Defeats Bath ACME Wildcats On Back Of Clutch Display From Carson Kirk

Carson Kirk drove in five runs on two hits to lead Elida Bulldogs ACME past Bath ACME Wildcats 10-5 on Tuesday at Ed Sandy Field - Elida Baseball. Kirk hit a home run to left field in the fifth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring two.

Elida Bulldogs ACME were the first to get on the board in the third when Kirk singled, scoring two runs.

Bath ACME Wildcats took the lead in the top of the fifth. W Mattevi tripled, scoring two runs, to give Bath ACME Wildcats the advantage, 3-2.

Elida Bulldogs ACME flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring eight runs on three hits to take the lead, 10-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to left field by Kirk that drove in three.

Kirk earned the win for Elida Bulldogs ACME. The starter surrendered six hits and five runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking two. Zavier Moralez opened the game for Bath ACME Wildcats. The hurler surrendered four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out six and walking five.

Chace Rhine led Elida Bulldogs ACME with three hits in four at bats. Jack Daugherty paced Elida Bulldogs ACME with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game.

Mattevi provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bath ACME Wildcats with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-4 on the day. Alex Walls stole two bases.
