Our Day Farm

Developing International Riders For Over 30 Years Our Day Farm is an elite horse farm specializing in the sales and training of high-quality show horses.

Founded by Alex and Linda Jayne, the farm has grown into a family enterprise, with all three of the Jayne children now working at the farm as professinional riders and trainers. Our Day is based in Elgin, Illinois during the summer months and Wellington, Florida during the winter. This allows easy access to the highest levels of "AA" rated hunter/jumper shows year round.

The ODF team maintained its momentum into week 2 of the Lamplight Spring Spectacular and brought home even more impressive results.

Karma Police & Haylie Rolfe were the winners 🥇 in the open section of the $5000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. PC Andrew Ryback

Pineapple & Oliver Rolfe earned their second consecutive championship in the Pony Jumper division with two wins 🥇🥇 in the division.

Candide & Eric Edson-Merlau came away with the reserve championship in the Modified Child/Adult Hunters, highlighted by a 🥇🥈 along the way.

Egane & Clementine Jordan earned the reserve championship in the .90m Jr/Am Jumpers.

Chewy & Harley Gould raced their way to 🥈 in the Itty-Bitty Jumper Classic and won🥇 a class in the Pony Jumper division.

J’espere and Eric Edson-Merlau produced several nice ribbons in the 1.10m Jr/Am Jumpers. PC Andrew Ryback

CGF Pepper Royale and Haylie Rolfe moved up to the 1.10m Open Jumpers and also were 🥈in the 1m Open Jumpers.

CGF Lady Power and Haylie Rolfe also moved up to the 1.10m Open Jumper division and came away with a win 🥇.

Betelgeuse ODF & Sara Gentry earned nice placings in the Older Adult Hunters.

Cillbhrid Pippa & Clementine Jordan jumped their way to a 🥈 and 🥉 in the Pony Jumpers.

Great results across the board. Time for a little break before we head back to Lamplight to start off the Summertime series!

Hard work hits different when it starts showing up on the scoreboard. 🦄✨ Rhys has been spending a lot of time in the saddle recently, and it’s paying off with wins in the jumper ring with his own horse, J’espere, wins in the hunters with Leslie Coolidge’s Candide, and beautifully ridden rounds on our young horse, Jalapeño! Great job this past month, Rhys!

Congratulations to Karma Police & Haylie Rolfe, winners of the $5000 Open USHJA National Hunter Derby at Lamplight Spring Spectacular 2. This horse has a very bright derby career ahead of him!

Candide is back and ready to find his next home! This 14 year old Warmblood gelding has been leased out for several years, doing all the jobs up to 3’. He’s the ultimate packer—brave to the jumps, automatic lead change, simple to prepare, and has loads of experience to his credit.

For sale only, preference given to reputable programs that intend to give this horse the wonderful home he deserves.

The Spectacular series is in full swing at Lamplight, and our horses and riders lived up to the title with wins and top finishes across the board:

Jennifer Grey & Maylin Rolfe made another debut in the Crossrail Olympic Jumpers with 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 to their credit.

Cillbhrid Pippa & Clementine Jordan tied for the championship 🏆 in the Pony Jumper division with Pineapple & Oliver Rolfe. Pineapple also earned several nice ribbons in the Small Ponies.

Cordessco & Lindsay Claytor won 🥇 the Itty-Bitty Jumper Classic

No Doubt RFB and Nanu Mehta earned the Reserve Championship 🏆 in the 3’6” Performance and were class winners 🥇 in the 3’6” A/O Hunters.

Hearsay & Jonathan Cohen had top finishes through the 3’6” Amateur Owners to come away with the Reserve Championship 🏆 and also finished 🥉 in the Classic.

J’espere and Eric Edson-Merlau moved up to the 1.10m Jr/Am and earned a 🥈.

Easter Lily ODF & Thomas Cerra finished 9th in the $35,000. Thanks to Thomas for the ride!

CGF Pepper Royale and Haylie Rolfe won 🥇 a class on their way to the Championship 🏆 in the 1m Open Jumper division.

CGF Lady Power and Haylie Rolfe also jumped to a 🥇 in 1m Young Jumper division.

Egane & Clementine Jordan continued building their partnership and put in beautiful rounds in the .90m Jr/Am Jumpers with a 🥇.

Another great week in the books for the ODF team as we returned to for our first week of summer competition. Our winter warriors got right back to it and made sure not to be outshone by the rest of the group:

Easter Lily & Maggie Jayne started their week off with a 🥈 in the $5,000 Alliant Private Client Cup, followed by a 4th place finish in the $24,500 HITS Grand Prix.

Hearsay & Jonathan Cohen kept their podium streak going with a 🥉 in the $5000 USHJA National Hunter Derby

Karma Police & Haylie Rolfe earned the championship in the Young Hunter division with 🥇🥇🥇🥈🥈. They also jumped to a 12th place finish in the $5000 USHJA National Derby.

CGF Radar Love & Michelle Regan were the champions in the .80m Puddle Jumpers with a 🥇 to their credit.

Chewy & Harley Gould sped their way to 🥇 🥇 🥈 🥉 to earn themselves the championship in the Pony Jumpers.

Analisa & Maggie Jayne resumed their winning ways, logging another championship in the .90m Open Jumper division with a clean sweep 🥇🥇🥇🥇.

J’espere & Rhys Edson-Merlau continued building their new partnership and notched a 🥇 in the 1m Jr/Am Jumpers.

Rhys also logged some lovely rounds on Jalapeño ODF, with a 4th & 5th in the Puddle Jumpers.

June Solstice & Lindsay Claytor produced some smooth rounds in the Puddle Jumpers.

CGF Pepper Royale & Michelle Regan earned a 🥉 in the Puddle Jumpers. Pepper was also reserve champion in the 1m Open Jumper with Haylie Rolfe riding.

Poppychin & Alita Liggett had clear rounds across the board in the 1.10m Jr/Am Jumpers and finished 🥉 in the Classic. Thanks to Platinum Farm for the team up.

One last weekend showing in Florida for our little ladies and they delivered!

Chewy & Harley Gould earned a 🥇 🥈 and 5th to finish Reserve Champion in the Jr/Am section of the Itty-Bitty Jumpers

Jennifer Grey & Maylin Rolfe made their Itty-Jumper debut and rode to a 4th place finish in their only outing for the week.

Just a few more days and we’re headed ⬆️ to meet up with our summer crew. Next stop HITS Chicago.

Two more debuts in the books for team ODF during ESP Spring 3 and they’re both already proving to be great partnerships!

Chewy and Harley Gould finished 🥇 🥇 and 🥈 in the Itty-Bitty Jumpers to earn the division championship. This was only Harley’s second horse show and first time doing jumpers!

Egane & Clementine Jordan delivered two lovely rounds to give us a taste of what’s to come as we enter the summer.
