~ Daily Care of younger birds in barn — feeding, watering, cleaning out brooder rooms
~ Periodic care of older birds in outside flight pens — feeding, watering
~ Catching and crating of mature birds for delivery
~ Pen maintenance
~ Egg handling during hatching season
~ Possible machinery operation (tractors and mowers)
~ Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
~ Work environment may include high temperatures indoors and all weather conditions outdoors.
~ Lifts/moves/carries objects up to 40 pounds.
~ Must learn and apply basic instructions on a regular basis
~ Must complete basic math accurately and quickly
