“I…had…the time of my liiife,” and it had nothing to do with Patrick Swayze or dancing. 😂 Polo lesson number 2 in the books. Matias of is a fab and fun instructor—great at explaining concepts and very encouraging. He said I could bring a friend/s and we’d have a blast so come on Illinois horse frandz! Let’s give it a go.

I had some decent shots today and there were a few moments when I caught myself belly laughing. Chocolate Chip is such a doll of a mare—also a fantastic teacher.

I will say at the end of the lesson when I was told to basically ride like a slob at the canter and lean back and put my feet/legs out in front of me (so I could stay on at a quick stop and turn and not fly out of the tack) I thought, “Don’t let any of my previous trainers see my eq right now!” 🙈

I’m going to post my results from today in my stories because you know I like to geek out over riding tech.
