With April rolling in and the desert beginning to warm, the winds are lining up for another great day on the water!
It time for the RGYC to set sail again at Elephant Butte Lake on Saturday, April 11th for the Second Race in the Spring Series!

Skippers meeting is at Mast Up Storage at 10:00am for the purpose of discussing the day's racing events and assigning crew for anyone wanting to participate.

April regatta will be Saturday the 11th. Skippers meeting will be at 10:00am inside Rio Grand Yacht Club (RGYC) mastup storage area. Members boat storage yard is located inside state park using the Del Sur marina entrance by the town of Elephant Butte.
Curious about joining an active sailing club or would like to help crew on races, please consider this your invite.
Weather temps are in the 90’s now and water level of lake has increased to 11.9 capacity!

Great day for monthly regatta with 4 skippers and crews. Sprinkles cooled things off. Nice upgrades to marina del Sur. Dock walk showed Halloween decorations! Love the sailing community!

Saturday October 11th, 2025 club regatta. 0930am Captain’s meeting and extra crew assignments. Gather at mast-up area state park main entrance. Up hill from del Sur marina turn by elephant sand sculpture. Flags will be at fence line, drive in! Hope to see ya.
